Hourly Rate Breakdown
Individual sessions range from 45-50 minutes in length and I bill at a rate of $125.00 per session.
Family sessions average about 50 minutes in lenght and no mater how many members attend, I bill at a rate of $140.00 per session.
Couples sessions average about 50 minutes in length and I bill at $135.00 per session.
The first 15 minutes of a phone consultation PRIOR to being a client is free. After this I bill $30.00 per 15 minute times.
See JSO counseling under Counseling Services to see what JSO counseling includes. The rate is $70.00 with proof of active involvement of the court system or probation officer.
Private court or school based assessment costs are determined based on the specific referral and client need however, both tend to range in price from $2000 to $3000. Half of the payment is required at the start of the initial intake session and the second half of the payment is required when you receive the written assessment report.
Court Related Fees
A flat charge of 30$ for administrative costs will occur for any client records request needed. In addition to the administrative cost fee, a fee in the amount of $0.25 a page will be billed for any records that must be copied.
My rates for court appearances or as an expert witness may vary as travel time, preparation, and stress depend on a case-by-case basis. I am also often required to cancel clients which impacts my clients and my practice. On a whole, my fee scale ranges from $130-$150 for each hour I am billing for court ordered testimony.
Letters & Treatment Summaries
Sometimes clients request that a letter or treatment summary be provided for outside parties. I bill an hourly rate for both. My hourly rate is $125.00. I bill my time on a quarter system, for example- a 10 minute letter is billed as one quarter of an hour and thus the rate would be $31.25; a letter that takes 35 minutes is billed as a half hour and would cost $62.50.
I am currently on several insurance panels however this does not mean I can accept everyone on one of these insurance panels. Currently I designate several insurance slots for my private practice as I am often full and unable to take more. If I have no room under insurance you are welcome to pay private pay fees. I do have a small sliding scale that is dependent on your income level and needs. If I am full and no longer accepting your insurance you are welcome to request that I place you on a waiting list and when a slot for insurance clients opens I will call and schedule to meet with you. I am happy to provide any type of necessary receipt needed, if you have a PPO and can obtain partial reimbursement from your insurance provider for treatment sessions. You are responsible for your co-pay at the time of each and every visit. Please make sure you know what your co-pay is PRIOR to your initial intake session. Below are the three insurance panels I am part of, please call your provider to double check to ensure that treatment is covered by your provider.
